Cider Orchard Spring 2010
The 11 acre Harmony Cider orchard has been blooming.
42+ varieties of cider apples and perry pears and more in the works. Craig has been busy honing on the best 7-15 varieties to grow on the hillside as well as up at the North ranch.
A perfect blend of bittersweet, bittersharps, sharps and sweet cultivars will assist with good fermentation and produce a lovely traditional cider.
Bottling
Bottling update: Lots of exciting news at TCW!
We have a new full time cider maker, Marcus Roberts. Marcus is a local winemaker and a 4th generation familly farmer in our area.
He's been keeping the cidery busy blending and bottling 100 cases/day 4 days a week. This season TCW will yield 1400 cases!
Look for our 4 blends -
Tieton - Dry
Wild Washington - Semi- dry
Cherry - Fruit
and our newest and sweetest blend -Sweet Blossom Nectar
Distribution will begin Mid- May. You can find us at the Beer Shoppe in Yakima, Full Throttle Bottle and 99 Bottles in Seattle. Many more retailers in the works in Portland as well.
Also for you locals, feel free to send us an email and we can arrange tastes and sales at the cidery.

It's been quiet in the cider house through the new year, but major plans of blending, and bottling are underway. New bottles new labels and a brand new blend..Sweet Blossom Nectar more to come soon!OK, how much do we love Oldtime Cider - Dave and Heather?
